Description
Is your WordPress admin screen cluttered with too many notices, update reminders, and plugin advertisements?
Disable WP Notification is the ultimate solution to clean your workspace. It blocks annoying administrative notices from your main screen and relocates them to a quiet, professional Notification Center (Bell Icon). This ensures your dashboard stays clean while you never miss important system alerts.
It is simple, lightweight, and business-focused. Your dashboard will look clean, load faster, and feel professional.
Why Choose Disable WP Notification?
- Zero Distractions: Clean your workspace instantly. Focus on building your website, not closing pop-up notices.
- Notification Center: Instead of deleting notices forever, the plugin collects them in an off-screen drawer. Click the bell icon in the top bar to read them whenever you want.
- Simple Control Modes:
- Show All: Keep notices visible normally.
- Disable for All Users: Block notices for everyone on your site.
- Disable for All Except Admins: Hide notices for editors, authors, and other roles, but keep them visible for administrators.
- Granular Update Filters: Stop WordPress core version nags, plugin update reminders, or theme update alerts with simple toggle switches.
- One-Click Clean: Dismiss notices permanently or clear the entire notification center tray in one click.
- No Configuration Hassles: Upgrading from older versions automatically imports and updates your settings.

FAQ
-
How does the Notification Center work?
-
When a plugin or WordPress core displays a notice, our plugin intercepts it before it draws on the screen. It saves the notice safely in a temporary list. You can view them at any time by clicking the bell icon in your top navigation bar.
-
Will I miss critical updates if I turn this on?
-
No. You can easily view all blocked updates inside the Notification Center drawer or in the Blocked History tab. Additionally, you can choose to keep critical warnings visible.
-
Can I update my plugins and themes if notifications are disabled?
-
Yes! Disabling update notifications does not block you from upgrading. You can still update all plugins and themes normally from the Dashboard > Updates screen.
-
Does this plugin affect my website speed?
-
No. It is highly optimized and runs completely on the server side using fast memory caching (transients). It actually makes your pages load cleaner and faster in your browser.
-
What happens when I upgrade from version 3.4?
-
Your existing settings will automatically upgrade and map to the new settings format. You do not need to reconfigure anything.
-
Is this plugin completely free?
-
Yes, it is 100% free! If you love the plugin, please leave us a 5-star review on WordPress.org to support our work.
-
How do I request support?
-
You can open a support ticket directly from the Support & Feedback tab inside the settings page. This will take you to our official support forum on WordPress.org.
